Pavlina Akritas, Architect

 

 

 

  Pavlina Akritas is a senior lighting designer based in Arup’s London office. Pavlina firmly believes in the philosophy of total design and is particularly interested in how light influences and integrates into architecture, structures and other services.  Pavlina has designed daylight systems for many projects in different parts of the world. This has given her the opportunity to experiment with many different systems and customise each solution depending on the culture, climate, building orientation and site context. Pavlina teaches a course at Arup University on the fundamentals of daylight design.
