Gauri Yennawar is an Architect and Business development professional from London. She graduated from Politecnico di Milano University (Polimi) in 2011 (M.Arch - RIBA Part II) on a prestigious fully funded scholarship program awarded by the European Commission in 2009 for international studies in Italy. In
2008, She graduated with a 5 year Bachelors degree in Architecture (B.Arch - RIBA Part II) from Mumbai University in India.
Prior to changing her focus towards business development and marketing, She has worked as a Consultant Architect in Italy & India with architecture and urban design companies, Polis engineering Milano (2011) & Christopher Charles Benninger Architects & Planners Pune (2008), with projects ranging from building design to campus planning. Her resourceful and competitive nature and interest in marketing & business management in the built environment industry lead her to work as a Business development Executive at the Facility architects and sustainability consultants in London. Gauri supports the director and management team in developing key sector strategies and looking at identifying new areas of business growth and building upon key client relationships. She is responsible for producing winning bids and tenders to acquire business for the
practice where her excellent technical understanding proves an asset.
She has been a part of many workshops and conferences all over the world such as, Urban Transcripts (2012), ECOWEEK Thessaloniki (2011), Milan International Architecture Workshop (MIAW 2010). She is proactive & passionate about traveling, experiencing new cultures, meeting people, promote sustainability & green architecture around the world. Her experience with the international relations team in Polimi where she set up university & research partnerships between Italy & India motivated her to join ECOWEEK as a team member. She is passionate about working for projects which focus on rebuilding lives, communities and cities. Focused on career in Marketing and Business development in the Architecture & Planning Industry.
