Paulina Kościak, Architect
"Each day brings a new experience, so take advantage of it"
Paulina Kosciak lives in London, where she is looking for new inspiration for further actions associated with work in architecture and design. She graduated from Cracow University of Technology (CUT) in 2013 (M.Arch - RIBA Part II) and also completed a student scholarship programme at The University of Tennessee – College of Architecture and Design in Knoxville, TN in USA in 2012.
She has participated in various international workshops, such as: International Design Workshop in Morocco (IDW) (2010), IDW in Italy (2011),Survey of Fredra’s Palace and Park in Ukraine (2010), ‘‘Architecture for All’’ in Poland about designing appropriately for disabled people (2011) and ECOWEEK International Conferences and Design Workshops in Poland (2013). She is helping to organise the first edition ECOWEEK event in London (2014). She enjoys meeting new people and working on group projects, as well as exchanging opinions on various topics. Workshops are a unique opportunity for her to gain new insights and ideas for projects; inspiring and exciting because they are different every time.
Presently, she is a freelance teacher of freehand drawing: her classes are targeted towards prospective students of architecture and also she specialises in architectural and urban physical modelling. During studies she worked in Up Studio (2009-2012) and Podczaszy Pracownia Architektury (2013). Paulina participated in the implementation of a number of projects of different scales: residential housing, public facilities and public spaces such as the revitalization of the St. Michal Square in Sanok.
